Some of us remember him when he was a little kid.......

Below is an email we received from some wonderful friends. Their son's decision speaks volumes for the values instilled in this young man by his parents. Please keep them all in your prayers.

Down in Texas at Ft. Hood this weekend to see our son, Eric, off to Iraq. He's a 2nd Lt., platoon leader in the C-company, 1-66 armor battalion, 1st brigade, 4th Infantry Division.

Schedule Saturday (March 8, 2008) was as follows:

0300 (that's 3:00 am for you civilians) - take son on base to get weapons
0400 - son joins family in gym
0600 - say goodbye's, they're on the bus
0900 - wheels up, in the air
???? - boots on the ground in Kuwait.
2 weeks in Kuwait, then into Baghdad for a 15 month tour.
